Pete Davidson Picks Up Bachelor Pad in New York for $1.2M

Pete Davidson Picks Up Bachelor Pad in New York for $1.2M

SNL cast member Pete Davidson is the new owner of this condo on Staten Island. The 1,592 sq. ft. unit is located in a waterfront mid-rise. Davidson paid $1.2 million for it, according to public records.

The residence contains two bedrooms and two and one-half baths. Highlights of its interiors include plank oak floors, a waterfall kitchen island with a quartz top, and a pleasingly broad variety of tones that balances neutrals with more expressive cool and warm colors. The master features a bath with a spa tub.

The little terrace is where Davidson will likely be spending much of his time in the next few months, of course; it offers fine bay and city views, and can be accessed from the master bedroom.

The building’s amenities list includes a lounge, a fitness center, grilling stations, and a children’s playground.

Davidson co-wrote and starred in the 2020 feature film standout The King of Staten Island. His upcoming projects include The Suicide Squad, which also stars Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, Sylvester Stallone, and Viola Davis.

Tom Green Makes Quick Work of $2.3M Hollywood Hills Perch

Actor Tom Green is selling his secluded Hollywood Hills home for $2.3 million. The two-bedroom, two-bath, buttress-supported house appeared on the open market just a few days ago; it features a courtyard pool area, and a balcony and glass-walled open-concept living area overlooking dramatic city views.

The 1952-built single-level home’s interiors measure in at 2,195 sq. ft. It boasts a shed ceiling which, together with the blazing white paint, lend the shared living space a clean, midcentury look. A corner fireplace with a raised hearth, a bank of diamond-shaped built-in shelves, and skylights also distinguish the common area. The home boasts a galley kitchen—always a cozy touch, and in this case enhanced with honey-toned cabinetry with frosted glass panels.

The outside living area’s a gem, and accessible from large sliding glass doors in the master and many of the living spaces. It’s designed around a deck with a covered fire pit, and a slate-floored semi-courtyard with an angular pool that’s nicely defined, in part, by a retaining wall. A recreation room in the home is essentially a guest suite, with a second kitchen and a shower in its layout.

Tom Cruise Lists 320-Acre Colorado Retreat for $39.5M

Tom Cruise Lists 320-Acre Colorado Retreat for $39.5M

The alpine estate of actor Tom Cruise is back on the market this month. The property last appeared in 2014, when it was priced at $59 million. At $39 million, the Colorado retreat may well find a buyer quickly.

The property occupies a 320-acre niche in Telluride. According to the Wall Street Journal, the luxury real estate market in the Rocky Mountain resort city is booming a new gold rush, with city-dweller transplants moving into town en masse.

The 2014 listing photos showed the property to great effect—it hit the market in October, and autumn in Telluride, with its surfeit of splendid scenery, was a painterly backdrop for the luxuriously expansive and versatile estate. But the property went off the market without seeing sale or price cut. A listing agent quoted by the Wall Street Journal opined that Cruise wasn’t quite ready to part ways with it, so he may’ve been testing the waters.

Coming in at a mile in length, the driveway presages the scale of the estate. The remoteness of the spot is magnified by the federally owned lands that surround it, and all in all this is a getaway property for the active sort, with miles of hiking trails.

The main house on the property was custom built for Cruise. It measures about 10,000 sq. ft., and features plentiful stone and cedar in its build. The main living area is anchored by a majestic stone fireplace, one of many in the home. A three-bedroom guest house completes a first look at an extraordinary opportunity in Telluride.

Cruise’s films have grossed over $10 billion worldwide. His upcoming projects include Top Gun: Maverick, due out in July, and Mission: Impossible 7, scheduled for release in November.
