A graduate of UVA Law School, Laurie also attended UVA with a major in Cognitive Science and a minor in Studio Art. After passing the Virginia Bar, Laurie decided that real estate combined her love of architecture and helping people while giving her time to spend with her family.

Laurie is married to Blair Kelly, a local entrepreneur. They live near Foxfield in Albemarle County with their two sons and two dogs. In her spare time, she loves running and biking Albemarle County's back roads and practicing yoga.
